Do you know if your kids are watching the Netflix series “13 Reasons Why” without supervision? Should you be concerned?

The series is important. It starts a dialogue and reveals the toxic nature of human behavior entangled with technology and its role in isolating and rejecting a person with a press of a button.

In response to 13 Reasons Why and in partnership with the Jed Foundation, SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) drafted talking points. Taling points should encourage parents, teachers, and others to talk to adolescents about suicide as it narrates to the situational drama that unfolds in 13 Reasons Why.
