Child/adolescent/adult Psychiatrist – Minnetonka Location

Choices Psychotherapy is seeking a child/adolescent/adult psychiatrist for its Minnetonka location.

As a contract psychiatrist, you have the opportunity to earn between $300,000 – $450,000 per year, working 3-5 days a week.

Choices Psychotherapy has been established in the St. Louis Park/Minnetonka communities since 1993. In 2016 we opened a second location in Chanhassen and in 2021 we opened a clinic in Bloomington.

In this contract position, you will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with a very talented group of multi-disciplinary therapists. The Psychiatric team at Choices Psychotherapy provides psychotherapy in addition to medication management and focuses on developing a collaborative relationship that is client-driven.

Our administrative and billing team works tirelessly on your behalf to ensure that all processes from the first appointment through billing are smooth.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Psychiatry for Minnetonka Location

Job Details:
Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Psychiatry
Position Type: Full-time
Position Location: Minnetonka (possible hybrid)

Choices LPN’s will work with psychiatric providers by being the main point of contact to triage patient concerns and needs. This role will provide high quality, ethical support and guidance to patients by responding to urgent calls related to symptoms and side effects, assist with medication refills of psychotropic medications in a timely matter as allowed by licensing board and process medication prior authorization requests. The LPN will assist providers with orders and requests for patient care, assist with forms, letters, and other documentation requests by patients for disability, employment, school, etc and provide Psychiatry Referral screening with potential new patients and Internal Referrals to Psychiatry.

This position requires the knowledge of medication terminology, the ability to prioritize, solid problem-solving skills, great attention to detail, possession of an LPN degree from an approved nursing school and be licensed in the state of Minnesota.

Prior Psychiatric LPN experience will be required.

Choices LPN’s must be able to work 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday) and must be able to work at our Minnetonka location; with the possibility of working from home. This Full-time position offers an amazing benefits package, including seven paid holidays and three weeks of PTO per year.
Pay is based on experience with an hourly rate of $23.00 – $28.00 per hour.

Contract Therapist(s) for Minnetonka and Chanhassen Locations

Choices Psychotherapy is seeking a contract therapist(s) for its Minnetonka, and Chanhassen locations.
This is a great opportunity to join a medium sized practice of Masters level therapists and Psychiatrists serving clients age 5 through senior adults. Choices Psychotherapy is realizing tremendous growth and is looking to add more licensed providers. Choices Psychotherapy has been established in the St. Louis Park/Minnetonka community since 1993 and in 2016 opened a second clinic in Chanhassen. Our Bloomington clinic opened January 2021.

The ideal candidate:

  • Is an LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LP
  • Is credentialed to accept insurance
  • Works with children/adolescents
  • Works with adults
  • Offers a flexible schedule, ideally 3 – 5 days a week
  • Has a strong desire to collaborate with psychiatry
  • Is motivated to assist in the development of client base

What Choices offers:
Contractor has the ability to make up to 70% of collected revenues, the percentage is determined by billed hours. The more you bill, the more you will make. Revenues collected are based on fee schedules regulated by insurance. You will always know what has been billed, collected and remaining on claims associated with individual clients.

Choices Behavioral Health Assistant Professionals provide reception, clerical (to include billing), insurance benefit verification, superior customer service and administrative support for the clinic, collaborating with clients, other administrative employees, therapists and psychiatrists to provide outstanding mental health care in the Twin Cities. This fast-paced position requires the ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing), multi-task and work as a team. Candidate must have prior experience working in Mental Health, including psychiatry, assisting with refill requests, prior authorizations, scheduling and collaboration, mental health and medication terminology. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and a minimum of an Associate’s Degree is required.

Choices Behavioral Health Assistant Professionals must be able to work 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday) and must be able to work at our Chanhassen, Minnetonka and Bloomington locations. This Full-time position offers an amazing benefits package, 100% covered health insurance and dental insurance, including seven paid holidays, 5 sick days, and 3 weeks of PTO per year.

Pay is based on experience with a salary range of $39,520.00 to $43,680.00 per year.
