I believe every person has the capacity to learn and grow. As a therapist, I have found that my job is frequently to help others figure out how to continue to do so in spite of the difficulties of their lives, whether these be biological, self imposed, or structural in nature. As such, I have found that developing a full understanding of people in general and the person in front of me specifically is the first step to a helpful therapeutic relationship.
Therapy is most effective when it is done collaboratively with each person and their providers, and I always encourage my clients to reach out about any unmet needs. I am very grateful to be able to work as a therapist, and am humbled by the opportunity working with people presents me.
Having completed my masters degrees in 2016, I have been practicing as a psychotherapist since then, with my internships having primarily centered around clinical practice. My training and work with clients is adaptive to their needs, but I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I am additionally certified in Biofeedback, and frequently draw from Feminist theory and Structural theory. No single modality predominates my practice, as no single clinical problem does, and I have found that each person requires an approach tailored to their needs.
I have particular expertise in working with issues of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, eating disorders, high functioning autism, sexual dysfunction, relationship dysfunctions, and attachment issues. I primarily work with individuals, couples, and poly systems. As my training was based in Social Work, I am committed to being as culturally competent as I can, and strive always to maintain awareness of others backgrounds and perspectives, and to respect those in my practice.

Think of us as your cheerleaders on the sidelines. You've seen it, the smile, the simple nod of the head. Small gestures that say: we understand, we are listening and we are here for you. That's who we are.
