I believe that the foundation of growth begins within the relationship between individual and therapist. The desire to feel seen, heard, and understood is universal and is an essential part of our overall well-being. I celebrate the courage of individuals who take the step into healing by engaging in the therapeutic process to manifest the life they desire. Together we will create an individualized plan designed to fit your specific goals and desires.
We will take a whole person approach; one that integrates the mind, body, and spirit connection. I believe that humor and laughter bring out our authentic selves and utilize this philosophy in my work. I am passionate about working together to ensure that you become an expert on yourself and believe in your own insight, strength, and self-awareness.
For the past 18 years, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals from very diverse backgrounds. I have experience in a variety of settings; including schools, which has strongly informed my work with children and adolescents. I have a special interest but not limited to women’s issues, PTSD and trauma, and healthy relationships. Other specialty areas include; depression, anxiety, grief and loss, anger management, social anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and personality disorders.
In my work, I utilize my training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Change Processes in Cognitive Therapy by Christine Padesky.
I believe every person already has all that they need inside of them to create the life they want

Think of us as your cheerleaders on the sidelines. You've seen it, the smile, the simple nod of the head. Small gestures that say: we understand, we are listening and we are here for you. That's who we are.
