I am passionate about helping others find strength and courage to overcome their daily challenges. I strive to empower clients by establishing a positive rapport, facilitating an inclusive and safe environment, and focusing on achievable goals. Throughout the past fourteen years, I gained experience working in both clinical and educational settings. As a clinician, I provided both outpatient and inpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and families. I specialized in treating the intersection of women’s issues and eating disorders, using psychoeducational, supportive, and cognitive behavioral strategies. Additionally, I have experience applying my social work background to advocate for children and teens within K-6 schools. This diverse background supporting individuals with mental health issues, disabilities, and educational needs informs my approach to social and emotional skill development.
I practice with a person-centered, strength- based and cognitive behavioral therapy approach to help individuals on their journey towards healing and growth. I strongly believe in the collaborative process to establish an individualized treatment plan that works to identify and achieve clients goals.
In my career as a therapist, I have clinically treated clients with a wide range of challenges, including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, parenting issues, relationship concerns, and stress management. I have an interest in working with teens, college-aged students, and adults. I am an open and affirming therapist and LGBTQ+ ally.
In my personal life, I love to spend time with my friends and family. I enjoy going for walks with my energetic dog, trying new restaurants in the Twin Cities, and travelling to wherever my four kids are. I like to explore all that Minnesota has to offer, from kayaking on the lake in the summer to snowshoeing and hiking in the winter.

Think of us as your cheerleaders on the sidelines. You've seen it, the smile, the simple nod of the head. Small gestures that say: we understand, we are listening and we are here for you. That's who we are.
