My approach is collaborative in that I work together with my patients to best meet their needs and to help them improve their lives. I listen thoughtfully and with compassion to fully understand the depth of their symptoms and life circumstances.
I am certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in general adult psychiatry. I treat women with a variety of mental health issues including mood and anxiety disorders. I strive to provide the best care to my patients by staying up-to-date on the most current treatment approaches available. I strongly believe in the importance of therapy, lifestyle modification and other modalities to treat mental health symptoms other than medication.
I enjoy spending time in nature, yoga, exercise and meditation. I love trying new foods and learning to cook. One of my favorite quotes that I have found helpful states “Instead of asking myself: Why is this happening to me? Ask what can I learn from this.”

Think of us as your cheerleaders on the sidelines. You've seen it, the smile, the simple nod of the head. Small gestures that say: we understand, we are listening and we are here for you. That's who we are.
