About Angela Elmendorf, MSEd, LPCC
I offer holistic, compassionate care that creates a safe space for clarity, calm, and self-acceptance. I am passionate about fostering insight, expression, and skill development to help clients navigate life’s challenges. Together, we cultivate understanding, self-esteem, and effective communication strategies by clarifying needs, uncovering patterns and beliefs, exploring motivations behind behaviors, and recognizing personal strengths. Through creative collaboration, we can identify and process emotions and experiences that may contribute to feeling stuck, creating more room for integration, flexibility, and resilience.

I work with children ages 8 and up, adolescents, and adults in outpatient therapy and DBT groups. My additional training includes Trauma Focused CBT, eating disorders, grief and loss, trauma, therapeutic art techniques, guided meditation, visualization, Deaf culture and American Sign Language, mindfulness practices, calming skills, special needs caregiving, parenting, motivational interviewing, and IOP care.
My clinical focus areas include emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, body image, adjustment, attachment issues, chronic health conditions, ADHD, OCD, life transitions, self-esteem, and interpersonal difficulties. I offer integrative approaches to support overall well-being.
Stressors in life can feel unmanageable at times. These moments can also be opportunities to expand perspectives, promote acceptance and change, and shift mindsets and methods to feel more empowered and better able to respond to life’s challenges.
