About Amanda Hancock MA, LMFT
Hi, I’m Amanda
Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Minnesota since 2014. I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families who are navigating life’s challenges, hoping to better understand themselves and create more meaningful relationships.
I feel especially drawn to working with people who have spent a lot of time trying to be enough—whether by pushing themselves to achieve, trying to do things the “right” way, feeling things deeply, or carrying more than others realize. I work well with people who may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, burned out, or unsure how to move forward. Some have spent years being strong and dependable while their own needs became easy to overlook. Others may wonder if they are too much or not enough—too sensitive, too hard on themselves, or struggling to feel like they’re doing enough.
