Choices Psychotherapy Appoints Leah Austin as a New Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Chanhassen, MN (March 2, 2017) – Choices Psychotherapy (Choices), is pleased to announce that Leah Austin, MA, LMFT has joined its practice and will be seeing patients at Choice’s Chanhassen office.

Leah Austin brings over 15 years of experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. She has a passion for helping individuals and families develop and thrive, even though the difficult times. Leah has a special interest in the parent-child relationship, as this can be one of the most challenging relationships. Leah provides a safe, non-judgmental place to explore and navigate life’s challenges whether you are seeking therapy for an individual, couple, family or a child.

“Everyone deserves someone on their side and to live their best lives. I work collaboratively with clients from a holistic, strengths and relationship-based approach,” Leah Austin said.

Leah Austin works collaboratively with clients to develop a plan for treatment based on the needs and approach that is comfortable for them. Some of the approaches she uses are: Strength-based, Narrative, Parent-Child Interaction therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Couples Therapy, Child Therapy, Co-Parenting, Parent-Child Relational Therapy, Mindfulness, and Intergenerational Therapy.
